What were the most watched TV programmes during the Noughties in Ireland?

AGB Nielsen Media Research released details of the top TV ratings in Ireland in the last decade.

Not surprised to see Ryan Tubridy's first Toy Show topping the list. Although other Toy Shows got huge ratings as well, only the most watched one was included on the list.

Also no surprise that it's all RTE broadcasts in the top 10 (and the remaining 10 listed below).

11. Winning Streak 0.93m - 01/01/00
12. Fair City 0.92m - 17/10/00 (episode involving a pregnancy by an ex-priest and the Niamh/Paul affair)
13. Nine O'Clock News 0.90m - 01/01/00
14. Rose of Tralee 0.89m - 22/08/00
15. Tyrone v Kerry 0.88m - 25/09/05
16. Glenroe 0.878m - 07/05/00 (Biddy dies)
17. Popstars 0.876m - 13/01/02 (Remember Six?)
18. Eastenders 0.875m - 25/12/02 (some death or other no doubt - typical Christmas joy in the square)
19. Rip off Republic 0.83m - 05/09/05 (seems like a lifetime ago)
20. Killinaskully 0.82m - 25/12/05 (as long as I live, I will never understand why this is so popular)
